This Comprehensive Childbirth Preparation class is a blend of lecture, video, demonstration and practice. Emphasis is on labor being a normal body process and having as many pain coping choices as possible.

Class Content will include:

* How your body prepares for labor in the third trimester
* Signs and stages of labor
* Natural pain coping strategies, including focused relaxed breathing, position changes, massage techniques, pressure points, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy options, vocalization, and much more...
* The role of your support person(s) and the partner's experience of childbirth
* Pain medication choices with detailed explanation of the process
* Induction and augmentation
* Cesarean birth, recovery, and cesarean prevention
* Postpartum health
* FREE Breastfeeding Class Available to those who take this Childbirth Prep Class *( Group or Private)

Small groups offered allowing you plenty of individualized attention. Maximum per class: 6 couples Fee: $250/couple, including *FREE* Breastfeeding Class!

Schedule of Classes:
* Weekend Intensive (Saturday and Sunday), 6 hours per day 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
* Four Consecutive Thursday Evenings, 3 hours per day 6:00 PM- 9:00 PM OR Three Consecutive Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. - 9:20 p.m.

"Your Birth Matters" offers a Package option at a discounted cost of $320 per couple. This package includes a childbirth preparation class, a breastfeeding class, a newborn care and infant CPR and Safety class . (This package will save you $30 )

Private childbirth classes are also available in the privacy of your home or at our convenient location.

Couples have the option of just taking our 2-hour Breastfeeding Class (without taking the Childbirth Prep Class). Fee: $40/couple
