Mary Eikeseth

Mary Eikeseth, the Founder and Director of "Your Birth Matters"was a Registered Nurse for over 20 years in the Labor and Delivery/Postpartum areas at the legendary St. Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan, New York. Also as a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator for 13 years, Mary Eikeseth brings her expertise, knowledge and compassion as a registered nurse from the labor and delivery room to the classroom at "Your Birth Matters".

Mary states, "I give you the REAL DEAL on birthing and will teach you how to approach your birth with confidence and relaxation. At "Your Birth Matters", all classes are taught by Mary Eikeseth and are limited to six couples per session, which allows her to give plenty of individualized attention in a warm. personal, friendly atmosphere. Mary also works and specializes in breastfeeeing teaching as a Certified Lactation Counselor.

A New York City mother of three, Mary Eikeseth is also passionate about baby and child safety and is an American Red Cross certified instructor in infant/child CPR and Safety.
